A History of Tradition at Our New England Hotel Resorts
Red Jacket Resorts is a family-owned company with deep roots in the community. Many employees at our New England hotels
volunteer within the community, and company contributions are made annually to support youth and social services, health
care organizations, conservation trusts, and cultural associations on Cape Cod and in North Conway. Our parent company, The
Davenport Companies, has a long-standing tradition of providing scholarships to students in both the Cape Cod and North
Conway communities.

An Exceptional Collection of New England Beach and Mountain Resorts
Red Jacket Resorts began in 1965, when the family-owned Davenport Realty Trust
of South Yarmouth, Mass., built Blue Rock Golf Resort next to another Davenport project, Blue Rock Golf Course in South
Yarmouth. In the late 1960s, the company built its first New England beach hotel, Red Jacket Beach Resort. Construction of
the Red Jacket Mountain View in North Conway, N.H., followed shortly thereafter. Green Harbor Resort in Yarmouth was
purchased, then expanded, in 1972. The family of Red Jacket Resorts grew to include the neighboring Blue Water and Riviera
Beach resorts in 1973 and 1974, and North Conway's Fox Ridge Resort joined the family in 1979. Blue Water Resort's Edge of
the Sea cottages were acquired in 1995.
The seven mountainside and beach hotels in New England offer full resort amenities and more than 655 rooms and 90 cottages or other
family accommodations. On Cape Cod, four resorts feature private ocean beaches on the warm waters of Nantucket Sound, and one
resort has its own championship golf course. Farther north, majestic mountain views encircle our New Hampshire properties. Our
family of resorts includes:
- Green Harbor -- 50 suites, private townhouses and homes, private beach, pool, mini golf.
- Best Western Blue Water -- 97 rooms, 16 cottages and suites, private beach, indoor/outdoor pools, whirlpool/sauna, dining room, lounge, putting green, meeting rooms.
- Riviera Beach -- 125 rooms, including family suites and oceanfront efficiencies; private beach, dining room, lounge, indoor pool, and one of Cape Cod's wildest outdoor pools.
- Red Jacket Beach Resort & Spa -- 150 rooms, with 14 executive suites and homes; tennis court, full-service spa, private beach, indoor and outdoor pools, dining room, lounge.
- Best Western Blue Rock Resort & Golf Course -- 44 rooms, dining room, tennis court, meeting room, championship par-three golf course.
- Best Western Red Jacket Mountain View Resort & Spa -- 158 rooms and two-bedroom suites, tennis court, outdoor pool, full-service spa, dining room, lounge, meeting rooms. Kahuna Laguna, North Conway's first indoor water park, is attached to to the resort for the exclusive use of our guests.
- Fox Ridge -- 136 rooms, tennis court, indoor and outdoor pools, dining room, mini golf. Set on more than 30 acres in the heart of the White Mountains.
